What to do if I have one of these models?
If you have one of these phones, it is highly likely that you will no longer be able to use WhatsApp. However, you have these alternatives to continue communicating:
- Do not update the version of WhatsApp that you have at the moment, so that you can continue accessing the application; however, keep in mind that you won’t have access to new features or the same level of security.
- Migrate the information to a different messaging application, such as Telegram.
On its WhatsApp page, it was reported that on mobile devices with a version equal to or greater than iOS 10 and Android 4.1, the application will not be affected and can continue to be used without any problem.
