War in Ukraine – Blinken discussed with colleagues in Germany, Britain and France the reaction to it

On May 15, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed with his counterparts from Germany, Britain and France the reaction to Russia’s war against Ukraine. The meeting of diplomats was held in Berlin.

Blinken met today in Berlin with German and British Foreign Ministers Annalena Burbock and Elisabeth Truss, as well as French Director General for Political and Security Affairs Philippe Herrera.

It is noted that the diplomats discussed the ongoing reaction of allies and partners to Russia’s brutal war of aggression against Ukraine. In addition, the topic of negotiations with Iran and efforts to reach an agreement on a mutual return to the full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Tehran’s nuclear program were touched upon.
