It only took 15 days to Hsueh Sheng Wang, investor at the head of the real estate group Eurasia, to establish a factory for the manufacture of surgical masks in the Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis). On April 21, 2020, it was the promise to put in place a production outside the norm for the Ile-de-France.

It is now done, this Thursday, may 14, 2020, the plant was inaugurated by the mayor of Blanc-Mesnil and by the Region Ile-de-France and the promises of Hsueh Sheng Wang go much further as the chain of production will be doubled in order to produce for the whole of France.
70 % of the French production
Hsueh Sheng Wang has put all its knowledge and know-how as an investor on the road to be able to realize this project ” crazy “. It was necessary to find the machines in China, import, find the fabric, find the engineers… ” It was this duty by solidarity“, he adds.
By pressing the blue button of the machines, installed in the halle Eiffel, the production lines were officially launched. Currently, four machines are in function in the factory and the other four should arrive before the end of the week.
“In a minute, we produce 120 masks. With the arrival of the new machines, 1 million masks will be produced every day, ” details the investor. “This is going to be 70 % of the French production“.

“The largest factory of France “
“This is a record and thanks to it the region Ile-de-France is going to become self-sufficient“, launched the president of the Region, Valérie Pécresse. Actually, Hsueh Sheng Wang explained that with this production he is “the largest factory in France “.
There are four others in the country, but they have only two or three chains of production, so they can’t make as much per day “.
To produce these surgical masks, Hsueh Sheng Wang brought in the fabric Germany and China and it has recruited 15 employees but others are expected to arrive, to achieve the double. For the time being, the investor does not know how long this plant will be in function. “As long as there is a need to continue we will produce, in my opinion minimum of 3 years“.

Circuit court
Valérie Pécresse and Thierry Meignen, mayor of Blanc-Mesnil have both emphasized the commitment of Mr Wang in this project and its investment. Hsueh Sheng Wang has worked with local companies to set up the plant and recruit in the basin of local employment.
