During confinement, Free multiplies the gestures towards its subscribers but not only. Here is the list of channels still available, new additions made this week to Free Mobile plans and current gifts.
For almost 10 days, the French have been asked to stay at home, a Coronvirus pandemic requires. Young and old are therefore forced to occupy their days: Some prefer to read, take the time to cook, clean up again and again, play video games when they do not get lost on Facebook or Instagram while others take the opportunity to spend time on the phone with their loved ones and family members who are sometimes scattered all over France. The numbers speak for themselves, voice traffic (calls) has more than doubled in the territory since the start of containment.
Free Mobile takes care of its subscribers
Anxious, the operator therefore decided yesterday to double the number of hours included in the 2 € / 0 € package, from 2 to 4 hours until the end of April, without any additional cost, of course. Earlier in the week, Free Mobile also boosted its small plan data from 50 MB to 1 GB for all new subscriptions until the end of April. It had made the same gesture to its 5 million subscribers a week before. Now everyone can benefit from this enrichment. Note that Free offers during the confinement period a free blocking option to avoid any overconsumption of data on this offer. Another initiative by the operator in recent days to allow its subscribers to stay connected with their loved ones, the speed beyond their data envelope has increased to 1 Mbit / s instead of 128 Kbit / s, i.e. a speed 8 times higher. This gesture applies only to the Free Package 100GB, Special Series 50GB or 60GB.
Free channels and a gift on Freebox
Let it be said, plethora of subscribers continue their weekend leisure activities during the week, during the confinement of collapsing on their sofa and turning on their Freebox Player to take advantage of the many channels available. Yesterday, the containment period was officially extended until April 15, said Prime Minister Edouard Philippe. We can therefore expect an extension of the gratuity of certain channels or new highlights.
