Uerschhausen TG: man with 3 per mille in his blood drives into the wall and dung heap

A heavily drunk driver (30) caused a self-accident in Uerschhausen on Friday evening, as the Thurgau cantonal police announced on Saturday. The 30-year-old was driving on Nussbaumerstrasse shortly after 10 p.m. when he lost control of the car. The car crashed into a retaining wall and a pile of manure on the forecourt of a farm. People in the vicinity had informed the police about the incident. Nobody got hurt.

The check showed that the man had a breath alcohol level of 1.5 mg/l. This corresponds to a blood alcohol content of three parts per thousand. His driving license was confiscated by the Road Traffic Office. This will decide on further measures. The case is also reported to the public prosecutor’s office.
