Its 3,996-centimeter, suction six-cylinder box engine delivers 510 horsepower at 8,400 rpm and 470 Nm of torque at 6,100. With a six-speed manual transmission, the Porsche 911 GT3 accelerates to 100 in 3.9 seconds, but with a 7-speed PDK, it’s only 3.4 seconds. Its top speed of 320 km / h also indicates that this is a lost fast machine, but that is far from the point. The 911 GT3 is really a license plate sports car that has everything to make it good to race against the clock.
Double wishbone chassis, the clamshell seats and the roll bar mounted in place of the rear seats also suggest that Porsche took it seriously. Manthey Racing didn’t even touch its engine, but it brought out what was still in it. All this continues to be suitable for everyday use.
The GT3 gets four-way adjustable suspension, braided brake hoses and new brake pads for better handling, and the OM-1 magnesium rims are packed with carbon fiber plates at the rear for better aerodynamics. Air deflectors were fitted to the front bumper, and the carbon rear wing and diffuser were also redesigned.
With these refinements, the Manthey Racing GT3 will run around the Nordschleife faster than the 6-minute-59-minute time of the Porsche 911 GT3.
