The artist Hala Fouad married the artist Ahmed Zaki in 1983, and they gave birth to their son Haitham in 1984, then they separated a few months later, to raise Haitham between him and her, and then married for the second time to the tourist expert Ezzeddine Barakat and gave birth to her son Rami.
Her relationship with Haitham her son

Death
After her marriage to Ezzeddine Barakat, Hala Fouad was afflicted in late 1990 with successive strokes following the birth of her second son Rami, after which she decided to wear the veil and retire from acting permanently, and her last artwork was “Playing with the Devils”, which was shown after her retirement in 1991, and devoted to her life Marital until she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she died on May 10, 1993.
The effect of news of her departure on Ahmed Zaki
Makir Muhammad Ashoub on his program, “Forbidden from Exposition,” recounted the fact that Ahmed Zaki heard of the expert of the departure of Hala Fouad, indicating that Ahmed Zaki was shocked and attempted suicide upon hearing the news of her death.
Ashoub recounted the story from its inception, saying: “Hala fell ill after her separation from Ahmed Zaki, and I went to the Nile Badrawi Hospital to perform a comprehensive examination, and she called me and said (Call me, Muhammad, let our Lord heal me).”
After that, Fouad’s condition deteriorated dramatically, until the news of her death came from her brother Hisham Fouad, and Ashoub went to the Caliph neighborhood, where Zaki is filming one of his films inside a building there. Zaki, and he said to al-Sebaki: “In the news of a monster Ui … Hala Fouad is dead.”
The actress Laila Sabounji (she was participating in the movie) heard their words, and from her shock she quickly turned to the artist Ahmed Zaki and cut off the photography, and she told him at the top of the building about the news of Hala Fouad’s death, saying she was screaming and crying: “Ahmed, the rest of your life, Hala is dead, Ahmed.” .
And had it not been for al-Sabki’s affiliation with Ahmad Zaki, he would have thrown himself from the top of the building, and Zaki kept screaming, saying, “I am the one who killed her, I am the one who died.”
