The United States approved a lend-lease for Ukraine – Politics – tsn.ua

On April 28, the U.S. House of Representatives Rules Committee approved the lend-lease bill for Ukraine.

The full name of the document is act S. 3522 – Law on lend-lease in defense of democracy in Ukraine (The Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022).

“The House passed the Lend-Lease Law of 2022 S. 3522 – Law for the Protection of Democracy in Ukraine by 417 votes to 10,” – says in the message.

For the document to become law and enter into force, it must be signed by US President Joe Biden.

Remember April 7th The US Senate unanimously passed the bill about the resumption of the program of the Second World War (Lend-Lease).

The program will allow US President Joe Biden it is more efficient to send weapons to Ukraine and de facto donate equipment with provisions stipulating that the recipient countries must return the money to the States at a later date.

The senators explained that they backed the proposal because the Ukrainian military had proven they could fend off Russian forces.
