Therefore, on Friday, July 10, Polygon Indonesia launched two of their newest folding bicycle products, Urbano 3 and Urbano 5.
The specifications of this bike are not much different, so the selling price between Urbano 3 and Urbano 5 was not even Rp. 1 million.
However, these two new Polygon Urbano 3 and Urbano 5 products will enliven the rising bicycle market in the country.
Moreover, exercising outdoors slowly increased after the adoption of PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) in a number of areas began to be relaxed. No doubt, this helped trigger a surge in bicycle demand in the country.
Bicycle sales in several e-commerce sites increased by 40% – 156% from March 2020 to June 2020.
There was a surge in demand that shot high evenly across a variety of bicycle genres – including for the folding bike series.
Not only the emergence of the phenomenon of enthusiastic bicycle community, social media feeds are also enlivened by cycling posts from various groups in the country so that cycling is truly a trend that is currently in society at this time.
“Polygon itself, felt this trend after Lebaran, the demand for bicycles from big cities especially for the folding bike series continues to increase,” explained Devina Susilo as Head of Global Marcomm Polygon Bikes Indonesia in a written statement Friday (10/7).
Therefore to respond to market demand and the needs of these consumers, Polygon offers the latest folding bike variant.
Polyon renewed and released its flagship folding bike series, Urbano 3 and Urbano 5.
“Polygon has a wide range product strategy, by producing a total of 350 variants of bicycles every year, ranging from mountain bikes, racing bikes, BMX etc. “Urbano, our main folding bicycle series – is one of the variants released to complement and fulfill the lifestyle needs of the novice bikers and enthusiastic homeland bikes,” Devina added.
