TROPHY. The fourth edition of the Precious Women Trophy will be in the spotlight tomorrow evening with the singer Lio as guest of honor. As in previous editions, 32 women are in the running. New for 2022, a Health Prize will be awarded by the Journal de l’Ile.

And on the singer Lio, who came from mainland France for the occasion, to ensure the pace. All three, on Tuesday, during the press conference which presented the event, did not hide their support for the feminist cause. “Women need to stop apologizing! We spend our time apologizing for being who we are!“, launched Edith Semmani, who created the association Cœur vert at the origin of this award ceremony. All four could have sung it in canon, as they both adhere to this observation, with a downside, however, the conviction that, ultimately, if there has been some progress, “nothing hasn’t really changed“. Clearly, women must always fight to exist, to demonstrate their potential, to take their place, without forcing themselves to take on the role of Barbie.

This evening of awarding trophies to inspiring women in entertainment, entrepreneurship, the environment, sport, art, innovation, the associative world, the media aims to remind society of the pitch range. Give the lead to the cause of women, by sharing life trajectories, victories but also hardships.

For Lio, an intergenerational artist, with committed and straightforward lyrics, women must play the perfect chord, in other words support each other. Edith Semmani experiences this support on a daily basis in her professional life, in particular through the Women’s Film Festival, which she initiated to highlight films produced by women. And by carrying out actions in the Indian Ocean to advance the cause of women. The profits from the gala evening will be entirely dedicated to this purpose. “Our guests of honor, Victoria Abril, Françoise Laborde and now Lio, have always come voluntarily, no one runs the stamp“, wishes to clarify Edith Semmani.

Saturday evening, during a colorful gala evening, the trophies will be awarded to the winners among the nominees. Everyone can also vote by SMS (read elsewhere) for the candidate of their choice in each category. A special Health Prize, created especially for this 2022 edition in partnership with the Journal de l’Ile, will honor a woman who carries the values ​​of female health professionals. “It is still possible to reserve places online at monticket.re for the gala evening, with cocktail reception”, says Edith Semmani.
