According to the balance sheet now weekly of the ARS Paca, made public this Tuesday, June 16, the hospitalizations went up slightly, in the Alpes-Maritimes and in the Var, after several days of stagnation, or even decline.
The first effects of the déconfinement? The number of patients hospitalized due to contamination at Covid-19 was up this Tuesday, June 16, revealed by the ARS Paca.
It now totals 89 patients in the Alpes-Maritimes (+2 compared to figures of June 14, published by Public Health France, but 10 less than it a week) and 109 in the Var, i.e. five more than the day before.

A trend which contrasts with the steady decline observed since a fortnight. It will have to wait for the next data to draw conclusions.
Good news on the other hand, the number of victims of the Covid-19 has not changed or very little since ten days in our two departments.
A positivity rate very low
The balance sheet is always of the 248 deaths in the Alpes-Maritimes (including 65 long-term care facilities). It has not moved since the 4th of June.
In the Var, a person has died of the virus last June 12 after 9 days in a row without accounting for victims. Bringing the total number of victims to 228, of which 96 were residents of long-term care facilities.
No evolution no longer in the intensive care units, where 3 patients were supported on Tuesday in the hospitals of the Alpes-Maritimes and 5 in the Var.
Calculated by Public Health, France, the positivity rate daily which allows you to “the early detection of signs of recovery of the epidemic”, remained on this Tuesday, largely satisfactory in both of our departments (0.2% for the Var and 0.3% for the Alpes-Maritimes).
As A comparison, this rate was much more disturbing in the Vaucluse, where it amounted to 5.8%.
