An hour of silence in the center
Since Monday, May 23, the mall has introduced a silent hour. Every Monday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the music is less loud, the lights are less violent, microphone calls are rarer. In recent years, these “silent hours” have been developed in certain supermarkets in order to meet the demand of hypersensitive customers or those suffering from autism disorders. The sounds and light that are always very present in shopping centers are experienced, for these people, as attacks, transforming their purchases into an ordeal. “This silent hour will also be beneficial to customers wishing to enjoy a peaceful shopping session”, specifies the center. “This system is part of the commitment of the Seasons of Meaux for the inclusion of people with disabilities and their families”.

For nearly a year, customers have passed near leisure facilities that remain closed, such as the zip line. Where is the project?
S.B : He is coming. Finally ! We had some setbacks with the company responsible for installing it, but this time we should be able to put it into operation in July. A zipline in a shopping centre, it’s original but we believe in it! As for the trampoline area, on the other side of the center, which will also open soon. We will also multiply the animations in the gallery.
What kind of animations are you talking about?
S.B : Last week, we had an animation around recycling. In June, there will be three weeks around the world of the Little Prince with workshops for children. From August to September we will have a life-size dinosaur exhibit with noise and animation that the kids will love. We want to make Les Saisons de Meaux a place of life and not just of consumption.
