Orange quarantine zone rapidly expanding in Ukraine

The worst situation is in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where three critical indicators have already been exceeded.

In Ukraine, the orange quarantine zone has expanded to 10 regions amid a sharp deterioration in the situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus, although the day before it had 8 regions. About it informs Ministry of Health on Saturday, January 22.

The worst situation is in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where there are already three critical indicators (new cases, level and dynamics of hospitalizations). As you know, from January 24 this the region goes into the red zone.

A critical indicator of new cases was detected in Rivne, Sumy and Chernivtsi regions. There is a critical dynamics of hospitalizations in the Lviv region.

And in Ternopil, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Vinnitsa and Khmelnytsky regions – a critical rate of detection of new cases.

The day before, the Ministry of Health called three candidate areas for transition to the red zone adaptive quarantine.
