According to him, a few days before the explosion, agents disguised as “repairmen” came to the entrance, passed the security point, “opened the elevator and installed a mine and a sensor on the ventilation grill.”
But during the special operation, the agents forgot their mobile phone on the roof of the elevator. As a result, the SBU officer returned and corrected the error.
“Finding the phone before the moment of the special operation could lead to its failure. And the discovery of the phone, even after success, would allow the Russians to get some details of contacts that they should not have known,” Butusov wrote.
He added that it was important for the Ukrainian saboteurs to “eliminate all risks for civilians” living in the house. For this, a listening sensor was installed in the elevator.
“On October 16, Arsen Pavlov entered the entrance with one guard. The Ukrainian saboteur heard what was happening in the elevator. When people entered the elevator, he dialed the number of Motorola itself, which the terrorist was using at that time. terrorist Pavlov picked up the phone to say “Hello”, there was an explosion, – Butusov noted. – All Ukrainian saboteurs who carried out this extremely daring special operation, safely left Donetsk. “
