‘The Hole’ celebrates its tenth anniversary at the Teatro Circo de Murcia and schedules a total of 19 performances

MURCIA, 26 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

‘The Hole X’ is installed this Thursday at the Teatro Circo Murcia and will offer a total of 19 performances until June 11, according to municipal sources in a statement.

PlanLetsGo’s most successful show returns “more X than ever” to celebrate its tenth anniversary in Murcia.

From the company they have ensured that the show recovers the essence of the original proposal and some of the most memorable numbers and characters in the saga, also adding new texts and numbers.

More than 2.5 million viewers in six countries have seen ‘The Hole’; a work that “continues to seek to become a unique experience and an ode to good vibes and carpe diem. The perfect antidote for difficult times”, to, on this occasion, get out of the hole we’ve been in for the last few years thanks to the music, the theater, the circus and the cabaret, have ensured the same sources.

In this way, the Teatro Circo de Murcia (TCM) will once again be transformed and remove the seats from its patio to install tables in the purest cabaret style and, during these performances, will act as masters of ceremonies Canco Rodríguez, Alex O’Dogherty, Eva Isanta, Victor Palmero and Edgar Lopez.

The Master of Ceremonies (MC), loquacious and rogue, will guide the public through the hole, introducing the different numbers and artists during the party he has organized in his mansion to make public his forbidden love with a rat.

The hours and prices for ‘The Hole X’ (which range between 15 and 55 euros) can be found on the TCM website, www.teatrocircomurcia.es, as well as the offers available. Tickets are also on sale on the website and at the box office (open Tuesday to Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).

DETERMINANTS FESTIVAL AT THE ROMEA

For its part, the Romea Theater continues to host this week the Determinants Festival organized by the Performing Arts Area of the Murcia City Council, which ends on this stage with two new theatrical performances and a round table on ‘Experiences of mediation and citizen participation’ in which different professionals will participate and which will take place this Thursday in the Hall of Mirrors. Admission will be free until full capacity.

That same Thursday, at 8 pm, the documentary play ‘I’m a Survivor’ will be performed. The show by the Proyecto 43-2 company was born out of the worst moment of the state of alarm and revolves around part of the family history of the author and director, María San Miguel (who also goes on stage with her mother), and above all what that has happened to us in these years: illnesses, doubts, death, fear, resilience.

Tickets are on sale for 8, 10 and 12 euros at the theater box office (open from Tuesday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and at www.teatroromea.es.

The second show will be this Friday, May 27 (8pm), and it will come from La Belloch. ‘337 KM’ is a scenic proposal that brings us closer to the reality of Asperger’s syndrome through the story of Tonín, a boy who, after living with his mother for several years, must spend a few days with his father, who barely knows.

Tonín is unable to understand who he is, what he does at home or what the term ‘father’ means, and he takes refuge in his favorite subject, the space race, to try to assimilate the changes. Meanwhile, Javier embarks on a race against the clock to win back the affection of his son. Tickets have a single price of 12 euros.

Both functions, ‘I’m a Survivor’ and ‘337 km’, will have, in addition to the usual hearing accessibility system of the Murcia Theaters (magnetic loop and amplified room sound), with an audio description system and subtitles.

Also in both cases, in collaboration with the Inclusive Translation Laboratory of the UMU (Latrium), a tactile visit aimed at people with visual disabilities will be organized and, at the end of each performance, there will be an open meeting with the public that will include the support of a sign language interpreter.

Once the Determinantes Festival is over, the Romea will also be the stage for the Murcia Sonríe Festival, and will host two new comedy shows this weekend.

On Saturday, May 28 (7:00 p.m.), Alberto Casado and Robert Bodegas, Pantomima Full, will return to Murcia with their show ‘In his head it was spectacular’, with which they have taken the sketch format to the stage and in which they continue betting for the absurd humor and past thread. Tickets have a single price of 18 euros.

On Sunday, the weekly program will end with Comandante Lara & Cía. The Andalusian comedian Luis Lara will arrive at the Romea with his direct and risky humor and accompanied again on stage by Jesús Tapia and Vicente Ruidos.

And he will talk about the relationship with his brother-in-law, the abandonment of his girlfriend and the problems he has in establishing new relationships. Tickets are on sale this time for 20 euros.

‘ON THE STREET’ CYCLE

In addition to the room shows, the circus will be one more week ‘A Pie de Calle’ thanks to the free cycle organized by the Murcia City Council. On Friday, May 27 (7pm), El Gran Dimitri will arrive at Beniaján’s Monteazahar Garden with his show ‘The Legend (Born to Fail)’.

Dimitri is, according to him, a genius of the stage, although in reality he has a dubious artistic reputation.

And after almost performing at prestigious festivals and almost winning some award, he is ready to become a star with his new show.

‘The Legend’, which has dramaturgy, direction and interpretation by Antonio Jesús Gómez, is the story of an antihero, of a loser. A show dedicated to all dreamers.
