The United States is the third country with the most infections with the new Coronavirus, after China and Italy.
This Sunday’s balance rose to 32,081 confirmed patients, half of whom (15,168) in New York state.
According to John Hopkins University data, “there are 400 deaths in the country”, with New York being the most affected state, with 114 deaths, followed by Washington (94).
The gravity of the situation has led New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio to repeat calls to the White House.
Both claim more fans and medical supplies.
“If the president does not act, people who might have survived will die,” Bill de Blasio told NBC television.
