Supermarkets: empty shelves threaten if quarantine is not relaxed

The supermarkets now want all supermarket employees without complaints not to have to quarantine, even if they are unvaccinated or unboosted. This involves many employees, because many young people work in supermarkets. The booster is only available for people over 18.

The cabinet said last week it was already working on specific quarantine rules for crucial professions. This also includes everyone who works on necessary processes in the food chain, such as supermarket employees. It is still unclear what the rules will be. Last week, the cabinet said that they might come into effect on January 21, i.e. the day after tomorrow.
