The Sura Group, through its subsidiary Sura Asset Management (Sura AM) and its subsidiary Sura Investment Management (Sura IM) acquired 100% of the capital of the company Gestión Fiduciaria for $ 11,000 million.
It belonged to the companies Rienza SAS, Compañía Mercado de Capitales SAS and other minorities.
According to a statement from the Group, Gestión Fiduciaria is domiciled in Cali and is authorized to operate as a trust company by the Financial Superintendency of Colombia.
“Its acquisition will allow Sura IM to expand the investment capabilities of its businesses in the country, as part of its value offering with regional reach,” can be read in a part of the statement.
The closing of this acquisition occurs after obtaining the corresponding authorization from the Superfinancial and meeting the conditions for closing established in the contract, which was held in November of last year.
With this purchase, Grupo Sura has added eight business moves so far this year. The rest have been carried out in countries such as Uruguay and Mexico.
