With millions of games sold each year, Steam is now the preferred online sales platform for PC users. These major titles, combined with confinement, allow it to reach new heights today.

After having already exceeded its audience record two weeks ago, Steam has just reached a new level. The bar of 23 million users connected simultaneously was indeed exceeded yesterday late in the afternoon as we reveal Valve’s official tool. A peak of 23,436,186 users, notably due to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which happily exceeded 1.1 million players, while Dota 2 was approaching the 750,000 mark over the same period.
