The Sparta footballers lost in the final of the domestic cup of Slovácko 1: 3. The Letna team lost the match in the first half, when they collected three goals. Václav Jurečka won the penalty first, followed by extreme defender Petr Reinberk with two goals.
Sparta did not get into the game significantly in Uherské Hradiště. Already at 1: 0, the first manifestations of dissatisfaction with Letenské ‘s play were heard from the Spartan part of the auditorium. After Reinberk’s goal at 2: 0, the criticism of the club’s management sounded full.
The fans were reassured by Dávid Hanck’s goal, but only for a minute before Petr Reinberk again gave the home team a two-goal lead. “I’m sorry about the goal the most,” said Ladislav Krejčí, disgusted, who led the team to the field with the captain’s armband. “We can’t follow up on our contact goal and we get a 3: 1 chance from the first chance. After the break, Sparta managed to push its opponents, but it did not remelt the introductory hints in a greater chance, and subsequently it rarely got to the lime of Slovácko.
“The course of the match is reminiscent of the whole season. It is true that we have not been able to confirm good performances since the spring,” Krejčí returned to the match.
Petr Reinberk perceived the commitment of the guests with a reserve. “I already felt at us at the warm-up and at the beginning of the match that we wanted more. At Sparta, it seemed to me,” commented the home shooter Petr Reinberk on Sparta’s deployment.
He also scored a quick goal for the home team from the converted penalty. “We said we didn’t want to get a goal. I personally believed that we would do it differently and use our confidence from the last match,” Krejčí pointed out on Sunday’s derby, which Sparta managed to win 2: 1.
However, his team did not find a recipe for Moravians. Hanck’s beautiful goal from behind the lime was basically the only serious threat to Nguyen’s goal.
The opponent overcame Sparta mainly in terms of commitment, which also bothered the fans, whose dissatisfaction escalated with the shout of “Rosický, resignation”.
“If we knew what to change, we would do it,” Krejčí said after the match. After the match, some fans spoke to a group of players on the field over the police wall. “We perceive the dissatisfaction of the fans, but it will remain on the field between us,” Krejčí declined to comment on the interaction with the audience.
