KONTAN.CO.ID – SEMARANG. Semarang Mayor Hendrar Prihadi said, as many as three companies that became new clusters of Covid-19 transmission laid off employees.
“They (the company) temporarily dismissed it for spraying disinfectants,” explained the Mayor, who is familiarly called Hendi when contacted, Monday (6/7).
The man who is familiarly called Hendi added, hundreds of employees who were infected with Covid-19 were undergoing independent isolation, and some were in the official residence.

Upon the findings of the new cluster, Hendi appealed to all companies in the region to comply with the health protocol in accordance with government recommendations.
“The important thing is to run according to health SOP,” he said.
In addition, it also continues to conduct searches by conducting mass tests to break the chain of distribution of Covid-19.
Separately, the Head of the Semarang City Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) Sutrisno appealed to all company employees to change habits by implementing clean and healthy living behaviors in the work environment.
“We are issuing a circular to improve supervision of the behavior of workers in every company starting today. Most recently, we require workers to adjust their distance during lunch sessions. This must be done in order to avoid the potential of Covid-19 transmission in their work environment. – each, “he said.
In addition, he said, his party also reminded every company leader in the city of Semarang to immediately change lunchtime regulations.
According to him, the current lunch hour must use a shift pattern by regulating the number of workers who take lunch in turns.
“Companies are required to regulate food shifts with time and breaks that are carried out strictly. Employees’ meal hours should not be clustered. Minimum of 1 to 2 meters apart. The rules come into force as of today,” he said.
