So Sutera Accident Suspect, Porsche Driver Not Arrested

Police determine Abdul Rohman (25), the driver mobile Porscheas a suspect accident in Alam Sutera, Tangerang. The police did not arrest the Porsche driver because they were considered cooperative.

“The driver has been named a suspect. However, no arrests have been made,” said Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang City Police, Kompol Abdul Rachim, when contacted, Wednesday (18/5/2022).

Rachim revealed the reason the suspect was not detained. He said the suspect was cooperative and willing to take responsibility for the victim’s losses.

“Because he is cooperative and he helps the victim and the victim’s family, it doesn’t matter, accept it. I want to be responsible,” he said.

Rachim did not explain the cause of the accident. But he made sure the legal process continued.

“The name is an accident, then at the intersection of the crime scene, a car and a motorbike crossed. This case is still being processed,” he said.

Accident Chronology

Previously, this accident occurred on Jl Lingkar Barat, Alam Sutera, Pinang, Tangerang City, on Tuesday (17/5) at around 09.00 WIB. The sports car with the number B-7-MYG hit a motorcycle.

“The car driven by Abdul Rohman (25) drove from the south to the north on Jl Lingkar Barat. Arriving near the Paddington Heights Apartment, it hit a Honda Vario motorcycle,” said Rachim when contacted, Tuesday (17/5).

The motorbike with the number B-6054-VSV driven by Dedi Setiyadi was about to cross after leaving the apartment. Suddenly a Porsche came and crashed into the motorbike that Dedi was driving.

“Dedi crossed from Paddington Heights Apartments for his lane, but was hit by a Porsche driver from the south,” he added.

According to him, as a result of this incident, Dedi suffered injuries in several parts of his body. Dedi was taken to the EMC Alam Sutera Hospital due to his injuries.
