A few years after his separation from Michèle Laroque, Olivier Marchal found love again in the arms of Catherine Marchal, née Catherine Quiniou.
The two loved each other very much and in 1995 they decided to take it up a notch and got married. They are also the happy parents of four children named Léa (24 years old), Zoé (20 years old), Ninon (12 years old) and Basile (9 years old).

However, six years ago, the two actors decided to end their relationship, but not their marriage. Indeed, Olivier and Catherine, although separated, have still not divorced and have remained in contact.
