The state of health of former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, who went on a hunger strike after his arrest on October 1, is deteriorating. The politician’s personal doctor Nikoloz Kipshidze told about this on Wednesday, November 3, writes Interfax-Ukraine.

“On Wednesday, the results of tests of the state of health of Mikhail Saakashvili were received, and they worsened in comparison with the consultation held a week ago. He complains of a rapid heartbeat. A dangerous situation can arise at any moment,” Kipshidze said.

According to the doctor, Saakashvili lost 10% of his weight in a month, “which is very dangerous.”
