“Today there is no imminent threat of Moldova’s involvement in the war, we are a neutral country, but for this we call for the withdrawal of the Russian military from the territory of Transnistria, because their presence violates our neutrality,” Sandu said.
She also stressed that the political leadership of the country is trying to create a peaceful solution to the Transnistrian conflict, which will take into account the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Moldova.
“We do not want destabilization, we have a vision of the country’s peaceful reintegration,” the president said.
