Theater and film actor, theater director Mikhail Efremov called quarantined artists “parasites”, stressing that they are now in a difficult situation. According to the actor, many representatives of his profession were hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
Pandemic strongly shied on the actors
Mikhail Efremov noted that for the time of quarantine all theaters were closed, the actors now have no performances, many have postponed the shooting of films.
The artist emphasized that the coronavirus pandemic not only did not bypass the representatives of his profession, but “shied away” so much that it turned into “parasites”.
The star of domestic cinema noted that football players can play with empty stands and earn a living. But actors cannot live without spectators.
Earlier, the creator and artistic director of the School of Modern Play Theater, Joseph Reichelgauz, described how artists work in conditions of self-isolation.
