NAM DINH – Malaysia U-23 national team against Cambodia in Group B continued SEA Games 2021. The match took place at Thien Truong Stadium, Nam Dinh, Monday (16/5/2022), afternoon WIB.
The match was fierce from the first minute. Despite being seeded, Malaysia had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

First round
Malaysia and Cambodia played fiercely from the start of the round. Interestingly, Cambodia dominated the Malayan Tigers early in the first half.

However, this position did not last long. Cambodia took the lead again thanks to Sa Ty’s goal 10 minutes later, in the 61st minute to be exact.
Malaysia’s response was very quick after the goal. Muhammad Razak really became a savior after equalizing again in the 68th minute.
Both sides continued to look for goals until the long whistle sounded. Unfortunately, the score 2-2 did not change until the match ended.
