Renault. Savings meeting Thursday with unions

Renault has invited employee representatives from the group to a meeting on Thursday evening on its two billion-euro savings plan, CGT.

There is a CCSE which will take place Thursday evening at 6.30 p.m. for one hour, this is where the general management will formalize what it calls the reduction of costs of two billion, in which we can expect to further workforce reductions, or even site closings, said Fabien Gâche, CGT representative at Renault, in a video posted on the Internet.

He spoke from the Foundry of Brittany in Caudan (Morbihan), one of the group’s sites which is threatened by the savings plan according to several French media. Renault could not be reached immediately.
