(BZ). The political relief package provides for the so-called 9-euro ticket for bus and train travel for June, July and August. Due to the tight lead time, the Regio-Verkehrsverbund Freiburg (RVF) decided to offer the Regio-Karte Basis, which is established in the sales channels, as a 9-euro ticket, the RVF announced.
According to the RVF, the basic card is a personal monthly card linked to the calendar month, which does not entitle you to take other people with you. In this respect, they meet all the requirements for the 9-euro ticket. The easiest way is to purchase the basic regional card as a mobile ticket: in the FahrPlan+ and VAG mobil apps it costs nine euros each for the three months. It is also already available in the Freiburger Verkehrs AG (VAG) online shop and in sales outlets. The regional card can also be bought for nine euros in regional buses.
The RVF points out that a nationwide 9-euro ticket will be set up at the machines and sales points of the railway. This must be selected: For a basic regional card, the usual 60.50 euros would be charged there.
According to the RVF, it is also worth taking out a regional card subscription. The subscription also applies to take-away regulations on Sundays and public holidays, as well as transferability to other people within the RVF area. If you have a current subscription, you will receive a refund for the difference during the campaign period. The same applies to customers with an annual ticket or semester ticket.
