Presidential election 2020. PKW results from 99.69% of election commissions

The PKW announced the unofficial results of the presidential election from over 99 percent of the electoral districts. Andrzej Duda won 51.21 percent of the votes and Rafał Trzaskowski 48.79 percent of the votes. Still full data has not been received, therefore the official result of the election cannot be announced – said its chairman Sylwester Marciniak.

On Monday morning press conference, the National Electoral Commission did not provide the official results of the presidential election, because – as Marciniak explained – she did not receive five reports of the district electoral commissions in: Katowice, Nowy Sącz, Olsztyn, Szczecin and Warsaw

The head of the Polish Military Contingent added that nine protocols from abroad that were not sent to the peripheral protocol system are also missing. This is one protocol from Brussels, six from London and two from Manchester.

As Sylwester Marciniak reported – after counting votes from 99.97 percent. protocols (27,222 out of a total of 27,231) – Andrzej Duda in the second round of presidential elections supported 51.21 percent. voters, and Rafał Trzaskowski 48.79 percent of those voting.

According to figures from these regional commissions, the election turnout was 68.12 percent. – This turnout, despite the pandemic, despite the holiday period, is much higher than in the first round. This is a record, it can be said, the presidential election in the 21st century and almost reaches the record result of the presidential election in 1995 – said Sylwester Marciniak.

Late poll

According to a late poll poll of 90 percent of the electoral commissions conducted by Ipsos published at two o’clock on Monday, presidential candidate Andrzej Duda obtained 51 percent. of support, and Rafał Trzaskowski – 49 percent The margin of error for this test is 1 percentage point. The turnout according to the Ipsos survey was 67.9 percent.
