Thousands of citizens gathered in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires Celebration of the coronation Alberto Fernandez As elected president of Argentina, former Argentine President Mauricio Macri acknowledged his defeat in the presidential election and congratulated his rival Alberto Fernandez.

After counting more than 90% of the votes, Fernandez got 47.79% of the vote, compared to 40.71% for Macri.
