The first mayor of this municipality with a strong implantation of theshoemaker and leatherworker sectorshas indicated that “we have expert hands in sewing and cutting the material, workers and retired people, ready to do their bit so that our toilets are protected because they are essential to provide health to all those who are affected by the coronavirus, “indicated the councilor.
The mayor has also reported that several companies in the region have contacted the City ofPetrerto collaborate if necessary: a company in the city has provided the material with which these masks are made; another ofMonovarhas offered to supply the rubbers and otherEldato sterilize until8,000 units in a few hours.
“We do not know how long this situation will last and if stocks will be depleted, that is why we want to be prepared and we have offered all our collaboration in this cause that we believe will be the most important in our lives,” concluded the first mayor.
