Amsterdam – Max Muijtjens (25), an Oncology student at the VU, was stricken with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last year. During his grueling treatments, the Amsterdammer participated in the strict selection round for the lateral entry program in medicine. There is now good news: Max is now cancer-free and he is going to be a doctor!
