In January 2020, a US court will finally resolve the accusation of involuntary manslaughter against the Mexican actor Pablo Lyle, after hitting and causing the death of Juan Ricardo Hernández, a 62-year-old Cuban man, last March.
Lyle, 33, has been facing house arrest since April 2019 at the home of his brother-in-law Lucas Delfino, in Miami. Connected to an electronic shackle, the actor, a native of the Mexican state of Sinaloa, faces a series of hearings since last April, which is expected to conclude with a final verdict in January next year.

THE MINUTES OF IRA THAT CHANGED THE LIFE OF LYLE
On March 31, 2019, Pablo Lyle I was trying to get to the Miami airport after enjoying a family vacation. The car that carried the actor was driven by his brother-in-law Lucas Delfino.
According to witnesses who were in place and to the recordings made by the camera of a nearby tap, a maneuver of Lyle’s car hit Hernandez’s car, who got out of his vehicle immediately to recriminate Delfino.
In the video Delfino is seen getting out of the car and after a brief discussion with Hernández, returning to the vehicle. At that moment and while the sixty-year-old man goes to drive his car again, Lyle, runs towards it and gives him a fist, leaving him unconscious on the ground.
Days later, Hernández died of “complications from blunt trauma to the head.” Lyle, who was currently in Mexico, had to return to Miami to face the apparent homicide.
After paying a bail of $ 5,000, Lyle was released but was charged with involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to carry an electronic shackle while serving a house arrest in Miami.
THE VERSION OF LYLE
In December of this year, during one of the several hearings the actor has attended, he declared in his defense:
“I saw this man attacking our car with my children inside. Actually, I was trying to prevent my children from dying or being injured. He could have got a gun, or he could have used his car as a gun, ”he said.
According to local media, Miami-Dade prosecutor Rachel Morales-Gellis said that Lyle’s reaction was not justified because the victim was not armed and did not pose any threat, as the actor stated.
After more than six hours of testimony, the judge also dismissed Lyle’s defense arguments and determined that the judicial process should continue in January.
