Outside mirror damaged
Jena: Property damage to a vehicle was reported to the police on Saturday morning. A stranger had tampered with the outside mirror of a car the previous night. There was also another vehicle in the immediate vicinity whose left mirror was also damaged. The police officers found that there was blood on the mirror, which was secured. In the Damaschkeweg area, the left exterior mirrors of other vehicles were worn. The perpetrator apparently injured himself in his act and left a trail of blood, which the officers followed. But the trail was lost in Boegelholdstrasse. Witnesses who can provide information about a person with fresh injuries or who made relevant observations at the time of the crime are asked to contact the Jena police on 03641 810.
