According to Zhao when it comes to photography, color is a very important part. That’s why I think Oppo and Hasselblad have a similar color philosophy.

“Hasselblad has HNCS which is a natural color solution. And we both believe that, we need to produce a fairly natural and authentic color experience for our users. It is also a pretty important foundation for our partnership,” he said.

Benefits for Users

Zhao further said that the collaboration between Oppo and Hasselblad provides many benefits for users. Two of them are the presence of the XPAN mode and the master filter on the Find X5 Pro.

The X Pan mode is the hallmark of Hasselblad products. With the X Pan mode, Oppo tries to reproduce the Hasselblad-style photography experience on the Find X through a customized user interface.

“We tried to emulate the entire experience you can have on a Hasselblad camera. And we believe that, by offering this XPAN mode to our users, we can help users to experience what Hasselblad photography really is,” said Zhao.

With this collaboration, Oppo has the opportunity to work with several Hasselblad expert photographers. As a result they can
