Russian billionaire and Putin’s ally Alisher Usmanov has filed for divorce from rhythmic gymnastics coach Irina Wiener-Usmanova after 30 years of happy marriage. This is clear from a case filed in the Moscow District Court under № 205.
The application was submitted on May 4. On May 19, representatives and lawyers from both sides held a conversation, after which the spouses were given more than two weeks to make a final decision. The court hearing is scheduled for June 7.
A spokesman for the oligarch Usmanov’s press service declined to comment. In late February, he entered all the lists for imposing sanctions on Russia’s wealthy and supporters of Putin’s regime, 24 Chasa reports.
