Release of nitric acid in Rubezhnoye

Residents are asked not to leave the shelter, but to close windows and doors indoors. If necessary, use protective masks moistened with soda solution.

Near the village of Rubizhne in the Luhansk region, Russian invaders got into a tank with nitric acid, which caused the release of acid. About this on Saturday, April 9, reported head of the Lugansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai.

“Again a chemical attack… Near Rubizhne, the orcs again got into a tank with nitric acid,” Gaidai wrote.

He asked people not to leave the shelter, but to close windows and doors indoors. People are also advised to prepare protective face masks moistened with a soda solution.

Effects on humans: nitric acid is dangerous when inhaled, swallowed and in contact with the skin and mucous membranes.

Acid vapors are irritating to the respiratory tract. With mild poisoning, there are signs of bronchitis, mild bronchiolitis, dizziness, drowsiness; in severe poisoning – pulmonary edema. Gas masks are used to protect against vapors and mist of nitric acid.

Recall that a similar incident occurred a few days ago in Rubizhne: Russian projectile hit a tank with nitric acid.

Today Large-scale fires broke out in Lisichansk because of the shelling of the Russian Federation.
