Jakarta

Manchester United reportedly at risk of being abandoned by many of his players due to a crack in the dressing room. Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick respond to the news.

The news of the rift circulated after Manchester United humiliated Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford, last Tuesday (4/1/2022). The Daily Mirror reports that Rangnick, who replaced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November 2021, faced a similar problem to its predecessor: a split.

MU is now reported to have formed their own groups aka not compact. The report also stated that there were 11 players who did not feel at home and were ready to leave.

One of the reasons they didn’t feel at home was because they didn’t like Rangnick’s coaching style and tactics. In addition, Rangnick’s status as interim manager makes his authority also underestimated.

Among the players touted as wanting to leave include Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek, Dean Henderson and Eric Bailly. Meanwhile, Anthony Martial has publicly stated that he wants to leave and Manchester United have put him on the selling list.

Regarding the risk of being abandoned by many players, Rangnick emphasized that professionalism is the key word.

“We have players who are out of contract in the summer, we may also have one or two players who want to leave and are still under contract,” he was quoted as saying. BBC.

“It’s about dealing with it in a professional way, showing up in training, showing off, getting the chance to play. If that doesn’t happen then the player, the club and the agent need to discuss the situation.”

“I can’t say anything else, I will deal with it directly with the players,” said the German.
