The highest amount was paid for the painting Naked woman lying by Pablo Picasso, which grossed more than $67.5 million. Works by Claude Monet (The Grand Canal in Saint Mary of Health) in Paul Cézanne (Clearing) sold for $56.6 and $41.6 million, respectively.

Several auction records were broken. Thus brought the painting The Letter van Milton Avery $6.1 million, the most ever paid for a work by this artist. Also Leonora Carringtons The Garden of Paracelsus ($3.3 million) and The Double by Jared French ($1.1 million) sold at record prices.
