Scammer Ilse Leroi (41) has been arrested by the police and arrested after an article in The newspapaer it was revealed that she had once again defrauded numerous men. The police knocked on the door of her new boyfriend’s home in Kasterlee on Monday evening. Leroi was arrested, but she was said to be very unruly. The Antwerp public prosecutor’s office confirms that the woman appeared before the investigating judge on Tuesday and was arrested.

Ilse Leroi has been convicted nine times for fraud. She secretly tried to sell the trucks of a transport company where she worked, she sold 1,400 tickets to a schlager festival that did not exist and she ripped off many savings in love with men.

Last week it appeared from an article in this newspaper that Leroi had defrauded another Dutch seller of tanning beds since her release late last year. She dug him off an expensive tanning bed, using a fake bank statement. In the meantime, eight new victims have already filed a complaint with the court. Leroi has been arrested on suspicion of fraud, forgery, fraud and drug-related offenses.
