“The message remains: the virus is not on vacation,” warns the minister. “We not only have the relaxations, but also the fact that there is sometimes very hard coloring outside the lines,” she refers to the dance festival that got out of hand in Puurs-Sint-Amands last weekend.
“It is already the sixth day that there is a very slight increase. If it does, the next easings will certainly not be able to continue.” In her own words, Maggie De Block does not want to anticipate the facts. “But there is indeed an increase and we have to take that seriously. This is not a good sign.”
Tomorrow the National Security Council will consider any new relaxation of the corona measures.
