Les Parisiens held to a 3-3 draw

Paris Saint Germain failed to win against Strasbourg in the fight Ligue 1. Les Parisiens were held to a 3-3 draw.

Week 35 of the 2021/2022 French League brings together Strasbourg vs PSG. The match took place at the Stade de la Meinau, Saturday (30/4/2022) early morning WIB.

PSG appeared with core strengths, including playing the trio of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi. The visitors were surprised by Kevin Gameiro’s quick goal against Gianluigi Donnarumma in the second minute.

Strasbourg broke into PSG’s goal again seven minutes later through Adrien Thomasson’s goal. The referee annulled the goal due to an offside violation.

PSG equalized in the 23rd minute. Kylian Mbappe tore the nets of Strasbourg via a right footed kick in the penalty box.

No additional goals were created until entering the interval. The first half of Strasbourg vs. PSG closed with the score 1-1.

PSG turned ahead in the 64th minute. Achraf Hakimi scored a shot from close range, utilizing Mbappe’s pass.

The visitors doubled their lead four minutes later. Mbappe scored a brace via his kick ball, taking advantage of Alexander Djiku’s mistake who mistakenly made a backpass towards the opponent.

Strasbourg cut the gap in the 75th minute. Habib Diallo’s header hit Marco Verratti’s feet and headed into the PSG goal.

The home team managed to equalize when the game entered injury time. Anthony Caci kicked in for Dimitri Lienard’s cossing, as well as forcing the duel to end in a 2-2 draw.

This result does not change the status of PSG, which has already sealed the 2021/2022 French League title. Meanwhile, Strasbourg rose to fifth position with 57 points.
