Measures are determined by our Scientific Committee and forwarded to our government as advice. As Presidency, we take our decisions and implement them, taking into account the developments in the world and our country.
Our expectation from our nation is that each individual applies their own quarantine. In general, I know that our people are sensitive about the application of the rules and I express my gratitude to everyone.
We see those who do not comply with the general rules such as social isolation, social distance, cleaning, even if they are few in number. We have to gradually turn the rules that must be applied voluntarily into a mandatory process.
As of midnight, we are adding new steps to our new steps. As of tonight, we are closing the entrance of vehicles to our country’s 30 big cities and cities with lung disease. Entry and exit will not be possible except for logistic vehicles.
The vehicles carrying international freight will continue to transit through these cities. Provincial pandemic boards can further expand these measures. In the first place, we will implement the vehicle entry and exit ban for 15 days, and if necessary, we will extend the time.
