Brooklyn Nets forward, Kevin Durant appeared this week to record one of the new episodes of the new season of the David Letterman show, ‘My Next Guest No Needs Introduction’ and in the preview of the chapter it was surprising that the basketball player defended marijuana tooth and nail.
Durant took advantage of the interview to open up to Letterman about his personal cannabis use and how little by little it has been part of his life despite the criticism of many.
“I think it clears up quite a few distractions. It brings you down to earth,” Durant revealed in the short preview of the show posted on YouTube, comparing the act of smoking to drinking a glass of wine.
But that was where one of the biggest revelations came, when Durant confessed that in full recording of the program he was drugged after a series of personal questions.
for now, The only thing that Letterman and the Brooklyn player talked about was related to cannabis, so it is likely that the interview will focus on his role as an entrepreneur under his association with Weedsmapthe company related to the cannabis industry in Los Angeles, California, which aims to decriminalize the use of the drug among professional athletes.
Durant’s involvement in the Netflix production is expected to be one of several big Hollywood, music and sports stars including Ryan Reynolds, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Billie Eilish, Cardi B and Will Smith.
