REGION The number of coronavirus infections in Haarlem has increased from 276 to 277 today since our last update last Monday. The number of deaths and hospitalizations has remained the same. Since the outbreak of the corona crisis, 54 people from Haarlem have now died from the effects of the virus. The number of hospital admissions in Haarlem is still at 60 (the same since last Wednesday).
In Heemstede, the figures have been stable for a long time, but since Monday there has been a new infection and hospitalization. The number of hospital admissions due to corona is now at eleven and the number of infected Heemstedenaren is now 89. 32 residents of Heemstede have now died from the effects of the virus since the outbreak. This high mortality is mainly due to an outbreak of the coronavirus in nursing home Kennemerduin, where 24 of the 87 residents died from the effects of the virus.
The figures in Bloemendaal are unchanged. There are now 49 Flower Dealers infected with the coronavirus. Seven residents of the municipality have been hospitalized with an infection and five residents of Bloemendaal have died from the effects of the virus. In Zandvoort, 32 people are or have been infected with corona and the number of Zandvoorters who died as a result of the corona virus has not risen and remains at eight people. The number of Zandvoort residents admitted to hospital remains stable at ten.
RURAL Today, 7 patients have been reported nationally who have been or have been hospitalized due to COVID-19. This brings the total number of hospital admissions related to corona to 11,697. 15 people have also been reported dead, bringing the total number of corona victims to 5,871. Not all of these reported individuals have been hospitalized or have died in the past 24 hours. Some patients are reported later. That is why the data from past days is often supplemented.
To date, 45,768 confirmed COVID-19 patients have been reported to it RIVM, an increase of 190 since yesterday. The figures match the picture that the measures work. Because not all COVID-19 patients are tested, the actual numbers in the Netherlands are higher than the numbers listed here.
