Italian place seems immune to coronavirus Abroad

Ferrera Erbognone’s riddle has raised many question marks. How can these people not get infected with the virus, while residents of many surrounding places do get sick? To answer that question, the nearby Mondino Institute has launched a study. The mayor of Ferrera Erbognone has also asked the population to participate in a blood test.

The Italian government warns that one should not become too optimistic and argues that it may also be a coincidence that no one has yet been infected with the virus.

Highest death toll

More than 10,000 people have died in Italy since the pandemic began. That is the highest number in the world.
