On Friday, the Israeli authorities announced the appearance of the first case of “Corona” virus in Israel, which was diagnosed by an Israeli woman who was on the “Diamond Princess” ship infested with the Corona virus, and returned to Israel at dawn today, and was placed in stone, infected with Corona virus.
The passenger was diagnosed as being injured during an examination at the central Ministry of Health laboratory, according to Ma’an.
“The laboratory continues to confirm the results of the examination. The patient is in quarantine and under observation, and she was not infected with the virus in Israel,” the ministry said.
This comes, according to the instructions of the Israeli Ministry of Health, by forcing every Israeli who arrives from Southeast Asia to be quarantined for 14 days.
The patient arrived in Israel on a plane coming from Japan, which transported 11 Israeli tourists who were in the mentioned ship. The Ministry of Health said that tests showed that the rest of the group had not been diagnosed with HIV.
Four Israeli passengers who were on the ship remained in Japan, after being diagnosed with the Coronavirus.
The 11 Israelis returned after they had stayed in stone in the ship, during the past two weeks, after it became clear that they were not infected with the virus. Ambulances belonging to the first ambulance service, “the Red Star of David”, took them to the Al-Hajar area in the Sheba Medical Center, where they will stay there for the next two weeks.
