iPhone 12 is to come onto the market without headphones and charger

BerlinThe analyst and Apple expert Ming-Chi Kuo from TF International Securities assume that the upcoming iPhone series does not include headphones or a power supply in the basic configuration. The trade magazine 9to5mac reports.

Kuo assumes that the Apple company wants to compensate for higher hardware costs, which arise primarily from the integration of Qualcomm’s 5G modem. A cable should be included with the phone, but the charger should only be sold separately. In this context, Kuo expects Apple to launch a new 20 watt charger.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, both the older five-watt charger and the 18-watt power supply that was only introduced last year should disappear. How much the new charger should cost is not known.
