LIST Indonesia vs India badminton team line up in the Final 2022 Thomas Cup has been released. The Red-White Team was again reinforced by the gado-gado pair, Mohammad Ahsan/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo when they faced India in the Final 2022 Thomas Cup today, Sunday (15/5/2022) at 13.00 WIB.
The composition of the Indonesian players did not change from the semifinal match against Japan. Apart from Ahsan/Hendra, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Jonatan Christie, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, and Shesar Hiren Rhustavito will still play in this decisive match.
Anthony Ginting still fills the first single position. The player from Cimahi is expected to repeat his slick game when overthrowing Kento Momota in the semifinals in the final against Laskhya Sen.
Turning to the first doubles, Indonesia is again relying on a new pair, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Mohammad Ahsan, after performing brilliantly in the semifinals by making an extraordinary comeback against Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi. In the final match, they will face Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty.
Then, Jonathan Christie was appointed to fill the second single slot. Jojo (Jonathan Christie’s nickname) is expected to beat Kidambi Srikanth in today’s third match.
Likewise with Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian, who were again trusted to appear as the second double. Even though they lost in the semifinal match, the world number seven pair was relied on to fight with MR Arjun/Dhruv Kapila.
Lastly, of course there is Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, who became the hero of Indonesia’s victory over Sakura in the semifinals. The player who is familiarly called Vito will face Prannoy HS in his struggle to extend his unbeaten record in the Thomas Cup.
